i knew my girl argentina would come through for me with another good sandwich. this was a sweet one, which i always love to see pop up!
i made two versions of this based on the different recipes. One, I made squares of puff pastry, brushed with glaze, and then cut them open and added my ham and cheese. you know, like a sandwich. the other method. i folded in my ham and cheese into my pastry dough and baked them all together.
legally, as the sandwich king, i must advocate for the sandwich form instead of the pastry form. both were very good. the glaze was a really nice combo with ham, which lends itself so nicely to sweet flavors.
10/10. i have way more pastry dough than i anticipated now, and will definitely make more of these.
