Scene from the famous 1962 episode of the Jetsons, A Date With Jet Screamer. Not only did Hanna-Barbera’s cartoon give us a colorful atomic age/Googie look at the 2060s, this episode gave us the awesome teen pop idol of the future, Jet Screamer, and his infectious tune, “Eep Opp Ork (Means I love You). Daughter Judy Jetson was a Jet Screamer fan girl whose father, George, intentionally mixed up her entry to Jet Screamer’s lyric writing competition with her younger brother Elroy’s secret code chart. It turns out that Elroy’s code was selected as the winning entry. On a technical note, Judy was the legitimate winner because she also wrote the code words for Elroy!
