Crazy Skies - Mass Exodus Before Historic Storm
Jan. 28, 2024
No need to fear the escaping craft. The trails are doing new things, as OR has increased and they need to use new techniques in DOR-based travel to get through the atmosphere. The trails have been longer, but twist and break in much more dramatic ways than ever before. The energetic war has certainly ramped up.
The west is getting set for what I think will be a historic storm. We are in for a week and a half straight of continuous rain and snow. It's going to be difficult for everyone as infrastructure has not caught up to the new OR dominated climate.
Today was a day of major air travel, which is very common before storms. It was also warm, as we are in the "January thaw," a term I had never heard about until recently, as the media had been using it for decades to cry "global warming." Now I see it everywhere so maybe it's becoming more difficult for them to pretend that a normal break in winter weather (much needed!) is abnormal. A warming in January is a blessing before the onslaught of winter weather in February, which is always the most severe month of winter weather in SoCal mountains.
A new year and the one nice thing about my life moving slowly is that I can stop and enjoy the view.
Airstream updates coming soon.
