It was worrying.
For most of the Autobots(excluding himself and Optimus) the news of Decepticons disappearing would be a time of adulation. Less Cons means less enemies after all. That was not the case though especially since the ones going missing were pretty powerful especially his nemesis. What could have taken down Sky-Byte? Their fights had caused the fall of civilizations. Their chase never ending.
At least that's how it seemed.
This couldn't be how it ended, right?
These were the thoughts that plagued him as he flown through the air. It helped clear his processor.....somewhat. Something was coming he just knew it.
That was when it hit him.
No not an idea, but a bright light. It practically blinded him. Well not practically as he found himself falling out of the sky. He managed to land with slight grace with emphasis on the slight as he nearly toppled over. It was a good thing it was sand. After regaining his balance, he went over to investigate that object that nearly caused him to crash worse than he did.
The metallic object was covered in sand most likely due to the winds. He started off brushing until he saw a familiar looking servo. Then he started digging and digging shaking his head frantically.
Nonononononono no no nO NO NO NOOOO!!
Solvent fell from his optics as the mantra in his processor started to be vocalized. Jetfire let out an Earth shattering roar as he found the remains of Sky Byte.
Their chase had come to an abrupt end.
