im losing my mind at this show. i know that its got the romantic lens for of ling xiao and zi qiu(?). but the insanity of this proetective brotherly stuff is suddenly realizing theyre doing exactly to jian jian what their psycho parents had done to them. and jian jians reaction is a mirror of them. of course the difference is that jian jian isnt completely shutting them out. the beauty of this show is in its depiction of breaking, mending, and living through the relationships between the characters. bro when she went 你們不是我親哥 fuuucckkkk. hit the feels. i cant articulate for shit at 1am but i am still loving this show.

the complexities of relationships are so beautifully depicted in this show im truly losing it.

i started watching was it love, and this show truly is surviving with me solely on the fact that all three of the ‘second leads’ in this show are all clowns when together and i love all the three them despite the circus. the main lead is an idiot of a man and thus far seems like shite. idk how the audience is supposed to enjoy his character other than he’s an idiot

also wholly entertained by the forced cantonese from the actors tryna pull this weird storyline which is related to hk.
