Life with Bruce was good. He was thoughtful, kind, patient and had enough money to fulfil your seemingly endless craving for books. Slowly you had gotten into the rhythm of reading a book almost every day.

The shelves of his library filled quickly and overspilled into the living room, hallways, bedroom and any other shelves you could find.

"Honey?" Bruce asked one afternoon, standing in front of an open kitchen cupboard.

"Yes?" you answered, rounding the corner to find him holding a copy of Dracula.

"Why is there a book next to my cereal?"

So you both decided what was best for everyone: Donate the books you didn't want or need.

Multiple days you spent kneeled on the floor, rereading blurbs on the backs of your books and boxing them up. By the end of your decluttering journey, you were sore. Groaning as you stretched.

"Rough day?" Bruce glanced at you currently stretching your back.

"But it's worth it."

The headlines came in quickly. "Ms. Wayne donates books from her private library to schools." "Public library thanks Mrs. Wayne for her generous donation."

Hucklerobby Breakfast in bed- who do you think makes the food and who receives it?

first of all very sorry for the long ass delay. i kinda been in a big fat writers block lately :/

secondly... ooooouuuuggghhhhhh this could seriously go either wayyyyyy but since im a sucker for sugar baby bratty princess dennis and submissive pathetic loser robby with a borderline worship kink i think i gotta say robby's the one cooking today.

here's a shitty lil drabble bc i need to warm up my creative juices. they have coagulated.

Dennis was used to waking up early, even when he went to bed late. Ever since he was a kid, he was expected to be awake by sunrise to help his family around the farm. And since he had an early-starting job now, that habit hasn't gone away. But he had recently been trying to let himself lay in bed a bit longer on his days off instead of rushing to get up and go do something. The fear of laziness was still stuck in his head from growing up, which was something Robby was working very hard to get rid of.

So when the two had a shared day off (thanks to Robby's manipulation of the schedule), Robby wanted to do something for his baby. Spoil him a bit with something other than money.

It took a lot of careful planning to get it just right. He had some half-made food tucked away in the fridge so it wouldn't be discovered, and he set an alarm for far earlier than their normal waking time, making sure to keep his phone clutched to his chest all night so he would feel the vibrations and get up without disturbing Dennis. Honestly, when it finally went off, he wasn't even sure he had slept at all, but it was worth it.

He got out of bed as quietly as possible, pausing at every little movement he saw in case he would be found out and his plan foiled. Luckily, Dennis had become a bit of a heavier sleeper over the course of their relationship, so Robby was able to slip away unnoticed.

In the kitchen, he collected his prepared ingredients and got to work crafting a nice and healthy breakfast on a folding laptop tray he didn't remember buying. Pancakes, a bagel with an option of sweet or salty schmear (knowing Dennis, he'd put one on each half), scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, and a cup of coffee just how he liked it. Hearty and delicious. Just right to plump up his baby and grow that soft tummy.

Robby made it back up to their room and crept inside at the exact right time. Dennis was just starting to stir as the sun was starting to rise outside.

Sitting on the bed and placing the tray beside him, Robby gently scratched Dennis' back to rouse him and spoke softly, "Good morning, my sweet boy. I hope you're hungry."

Dennis turned over in bed and smiled tiredly up at Robby before taking notice of the heaping pile of food he had brought with him. "Oh, jeez..." Dennis chuckled, yawning and sitting up further. "What's the occasion?"

"No occasion," Robby answered, brushing Dennis' frizzy curls off of his forehead. "Just making sure you're eating well."

"You sure you're not just fattening me up to cook me in a stew or something?" Dennis joked as Robby placed the tray over his lap.

"Damn, was it that obvious?" Robby joked back, scooting closer and wrapping an arm around Dennis' shoulders to hold him tight.

Dennis giggled as he began eating, his head leaning on Robby's shoulder. "And what about you?"

"What about me?" Robby replied.

"Did you make yourself breakfast too?" Dennis asked.

Robby subtly rolled his eyes. As if that was a ridiculous question to ask. "Don't worry about me, sweetheart. Just eat up."

Dennis tutted and picked up a few pieces of pancake on his fork, holding it up to Robby's closed mouth and giving him an adorable little scowl until he conceded and took a bite. And his beaming smile returned just like that.

"Don't make me worry about you then," he said, finishing off the rest of the bite and pressing his lips to Robby's.

"You're right," Robby agreed, licking the syrupy flavor from his mouth and nuzzling his head against Dennis'. "A pretty little thing like you shouldn't have to worry about anything."
