Erev Rosh HaShana 5776

Somehow in the past eight hours I've gone from "OMG we have no food in the house and I have nothing done for yom tov!" to "Oh, dear God, I have way too much food."

In those eight hours, I have: -- Shopped at Butcherie (while mabfan braved the Israel Book Shop) -- Shopped at Stop & Shop -- Shopped at Trader Joe's -- Gone to Brookline Bookmith -- Shopped (twice) at Star Market -- Roasted four chickens -- Made a brisket (with onions, garlic, potatoes, and carrots) -- Roasted cauliflower -- Made and risen challah dough (fresh, hot challah forthcoming for chag) -- Made honey-glazed ginger carrots -- Cut and roasted three pounds of potatoes -- Made two gefilte fish(es)

And maybe something else I'm forgetting.

This is both cool and amazingly geeky. For those who have any interest in the question of how many biblical verses (from Torah, the Prophets, or Writings) (AKA the Hebrew Bible) (AKA the Old Testament), someone has done the research.
