The more I think about it, the more I'm really angry at Elsa and Anna's parents for doing what they did to Elsa, even if they had good intentions.

The troll literally says "fear will be your enemy" and what does her dad do? Make Elsa fear her powers and herself.

Also, not once do they say to her "it was an accident" or "it wasn't your fault" or anything to that extent. Of course, they were understandably freaked out, but if they, as adults, were freaked out, can you imagine how Elsa, a child, was feeling?

(Of course, there's a chance that that happened of screen, but I don't think it did. And if it did, it obviously was drowned by the extreme actions taken after the incident.)

And then they pretty much put the final nail on her coffin when they made her feel like she was not fit to be around other people because of her powers.

"Conceal it. Don't feel it. Don't let it show"

I honestly don't know how her father can justify hammering this into Elsa's head. Way to add to the trauma Elsa experienced instead of minimizing it. Good work making your daughter feel like she needed to hide herself from the world. Oh, and bang up job teaching her to think of herself as a monster by the way. Excellent work. Claps for you.

I mean, most children look up to their parents, and for Elsa's parents to react as fearfully and extremely as they did pretty much sealed the deal for Elsa seeing herself as a freak and a danger to everyone around her. Seeing only fear without any reassurance made everything that much worse.

oh yeah, my bassoon came back from the shop today so i'll be bringing it home over the break and may or may not record myself playing something idk yet but yooooooooo they must've polished my bocal or something cause when i picked that think up from out of my case i thought it was a new(er) one
