Brief updates
In case you missed it: the ISU announced last month that the 2021 ISU World Junior Figure Skating Championships have been cancelled.
Southern California is under a stay-at-home order from today. Indoor recreational facilities are required to close. No word yet on what will happen with Great Park Ice, though the Sheriff of OC is not going to enforce Governor Newsom’s orders.
After getting an exemption for high performance athletes to train in regions under lockdown, Skate Ontario is filming the performances of their skaters competing at Challenge through the end of this week. A preliminary schedule for 2021 Skate Canada Challenge is posted. We await an entry list for confirmation of Stephen’s participation.
Happy Canada Day!
Today also marks the first day that Stephen is eligible to skate internationally as a senior, with the start of the 2020/21 season.
