Like, Jon’s meant to leave for the wax museum with the others in the morning, but late that night he shows up at Martin’s flat all nervous and agitated, with some bad lie about how he wants to be sure that Martin will be ok being left behind, then saying he listened to Martin’s testament tape, plus he’s also heard some “office gossip” and stammers for a bit before going, “Right. Well. Good luck.” *awkward bro shoulder pat*
Jon turns to leave, and Martin realizes what he was getting at, what the “office gossip” was about, that Jon has put two and two together, and knows, and came here to talk about it, and that tomorrow the world might end, so he grabs Jon’s elbow and pulls him back and just kisses the living hell out of him. Long story short, Jon ends up spending the night (what exactly they get up to is reader’s choice) and in the morning kisses Martin goodbye, promising he won’t die and will come back.
