Saeran, Yoosung and V
I’ve been agonizing over this for 10 minutes but I guess these are my choices. Also I’m forcing myself not to choose Yoosung for “fake dating” ‘cause I already chose him for this once here. Also I realized writing this that maybe the idea of the game is what I would choose for myself in my world for these tropes and not how to make it work in the canon game, but you know what? I’m having a blast thinking about this so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Slow Burn: Yoosung. You know it’s actually kinda hard for me to picture a scenario where Yoosung doesn’t crush on us right away unless he had good reasons to dislike us, but I think I’m gonna go with a very simple scenario: instead of us randomly popping in the messenger, we do get hacked in but only Saeyoung and V know this (somehow) so they introduce us as someone V chose to replace Rika. Yoosung has mixed feelings: on the one hand, good God V is finally doing something to get the parties done again; on the other hand, his cousin’s ex really just chose another woman to replace her uh. Nice. So yeah he’s not super stoked and it takes him some time to get to like us and fall for us.
Fake Dating: Saeran. I chose this on a whim but now I’m in love with the idea of Saeran asking MC/someone (eventually Yoosung because damn that’s a good AU right there) to pretend to date him because Saeyoung is trying to get him to go out and meet new people or something and he just wants peace. Plot twist: Saeyoung sees right through it immediately but pretends to fall for it so we won’t drop the act. Saeran has chosen us as his girlfriend, now he’s gonna have to deal with it. (he just wants his brother to be happy, honest)
Enemies to Lovers: This is the one I’ve been truly agonizing over. Because damn I had great ideas for both V and Yoosung. But I’m gonna go with V. I genuinely love the idea of us being indoctrinated bye Rika in Mint Eye and genuinely thinking he is the big bad guy and we somehow have to be directly involved with him (maybe we actually are Unknown’s “assistant” like mentioned in some bad endings so we work for him and infiltrated the RFA AFTER taking the elixir), and slowly end up falling for him instead and realizing Rika lied about him and that the cult is full of shit. The angst. The drama.
