I wish everyone knew Sam the way I do
First off - FUCK YOU to my family for creating such a nightmare for me electronically. They feel it necessary to censor and edit me so much so that a simple like and re-post is taking 3 password changes and the patience of Job to stop hearing Kathy's judgements going on in my head!
But what I really wanted to say about this post was that I really enjoy Sam's audio in it. He isn't trying to be some kind of a big influencer or anything. He just really loves these two authors and everything in the written word!
Anyone who knows Sam well knows that. He has always referred to himself as a writer. I've worried that this meant a printed book and that he may feel a little under-accomplished at 50 years old to not have written that big page turner that he knows is in him. But then when I decide to take the time and catch up on all of his posts, hear his passed on music listening selection, and really listen to his quips, I can't help but laugh. The way he quotes movie lines and song lyrics can at times be like the Bumblebee character on Transformers. But often it isn't in the line he is quoting, it is an earlier lyric or a visual of the artist that he is referencing. He keeps my mind sharp and I will always smile when the "peanut bowl empty".
