how the study group couples would get together: Part III
lastly, we have arguably the most difficult one; jihosolb.
jihosolb’s bond is so strange, but it’s so lovely at the same time. it’s definitely my favourite connection between the study group couples. all of the factors in their relationship could work either way.
they’ve known each other the longest, they both have strong personalities, were/are rivals and understand what each other are going through in terms of personal struggles.
they’ve already made such big steps in their lives. Sol has started to stand up to her mother and is growing more in terms of confidence with letting people close to her. ji-ho has went through a whirl of a year, ending in him beginning to charge prosecutor jin. this results them being visibly closer than at the start of 1Y, not just with each other, but with the entirety of the study group.
as of the time of writing, we don’t know how the trial with prosecutor jin goes, but we do know that they’re working on it together, which definitely will bring them together. but, sol will also be in therapy, and recovering from abuse will get worse before it gets better, which i believe will lead sol pushing ji-ho away.
from all of this, i believe they’ll be on-again-off-again throughout 2Y and 3Y (never making it “official” but come on. everyone knows.) but called it quits after the end of law school. do not fear, because their paths will cross after law school, maybe a few years later, and they realize how deep their bond runs.
