12 Days of Hopper

Another writer and I were alternating writing stories for the 12 Days of Hopper, so here are my 6!

Snow Wars |  16+  ─  Everyone finds snow exciting, except Chief Jim Hopper.

Oh, Can’t You See |  18+  ─  Snow Ball ‘84. You never used to like dances.

Christmas Miracle |  18+  ─  You know how to make all the hours of Christmas shopping worth it.

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year |  18+  ─  Hopper is just terrible at hiding presents. You and El don’t mind one bit.

Hawkins Police Station Christmas Party |  18+  ─  Hopper’s not a fan of parties, but you know how to change that.

‘twas The Night Before Christmas... |  16+  ─  El asked for only one thing for Christmas.

Combat medic wasn't his brand of crazy, but them again, neither was Vietnam.

In spite of all this, however, Hopper had picked up a few tips and tricks from the guys who managed to make it back from the front lines with their organs intact, smelling like the blood of other men that had died in the process. Chemical Corps weren't exactly forgiving, but at the time it felt like a mercy compared to being shot and killed in active duty.

If only it had stayed that way.

"It's not the other guy I'm worried about, kid," Hopper says as he undoes the bandage around his hand. "But I'm sure you did good."
