“Hey, sorry about that,” she greeted the onlooker with a smile, having noticed them lurking by the door earlier. “We’re just finishing up in there, it got pretty intense. Were you wanting to join in, or?”

“Hi. Yeah, no. I uh – I mean, it was great. I liked your approach to the Lotus pose, it was.. anyway. What I’m trying to say is, I’m not here for that.” Buck smiled in greeting, taking a step closer in approach. He was unsure why he was so nervous. He’d heard plenty about Bonnie before, and presumably she’d heard of him, but meeting her was completely different. He wanted to make a good impression; she was Eddie’s family, and that was important to him. “I’m Buck. Eddie told me you’d be working here, I’m on the emergency response team with him. But it’s the full moon tomorrow, right? Well he uh… I know he usually takes care of the kids when you’re out there all –” He did a small fang motion with his index fingers, unsure of the correct terminology. It fascinated him, and he was desperate to question it further, but for now he kept his offensive curiosity to himself. “He’s on the late shift tomorrow night, so I offered to watch over Chris. But then he mentioned your daughter Skye and I – well, I just wanted to see if you’d want me to watch over her, too. I know they feel better when they’re together, but I also get that we’ve never met, and you might be uncomfortable knowing she was with me. So if that won’t work, just uh - tell me, and I’ll figure something else out. Y'know they have… overnight daycare. Or uh… other none wolf family members, I’m sure. Just thought it would save you both the hassle.”
