ughhh that such a dumb thing to say, i honestly have no idea why some people are that ignorant. everytime i come into contact with people like that, i feel like i’ve lost not only lots of braincells but also my faith in humanity
god i know and it's like no matter how hard you try explaining to that person that what they said was ignorant they just don't understand and continue to be ignorant
like if people would just listen and learn things would be okay i explained to a girl that a lot of people aren't sure about their sexuality and it takes them longer to figure themselves out because she was confused as to why i say i like girls when i dated a guy for two and a half years and she thought i was lying about my sexuality and it's like "i don't know what my sexuality is i just go with what feels right and being with a guy did not feel right but being with a girl does" AND SHE UNDERSTOOD IT AND THANKED ME FOR EXPLAINING IT LIKE WHY CAN'T EVERYONE BE WILLING TO STOP AND LISTEN AND LEARN
