Very sad to hear of the passing over Thanksgiving of Jim Knight. Jim worked at Powell Peralta for 30 years in the Art and Photo Department and was a dedicated behind the scenes collaborator and director on artwork and advertising. His great Skate photography graced Powell and Bones ads over that 30 years and he documented all of the big names of all who rode for those teams. Jim was always there when I needed some artifact or photo from the Bones Brigade Archive. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Jim’s Family and my friends at Skate One. Rest In Peace Jim and Thank you. I will reiterate, this semester has been interesting. I joke with him a lot but #jimknight is a great professor and his guidance and oversight has helped a lot.
