oh man i love/hate when people ask me my top movies :DFor now I'll go with North By Northwest, Grease, Monty Python & the Holy Grail, Casablanca, and Back to the Future. (yes they're extremely popular, but those are five that I'll NEVER get tired of watching. And honorable mention to Rebel Without A Cause♡)
13. my goals: hmmm. to graduate from a university, get a career with something in film and work with legendary directors and other artistic minds.
17. a fact about my life: i don't experience very many ups and downs like most people. which can be good but mostly bad. but i'm pretty patient with waiting for my ups in life.

hey dani!! i just wanted to ask you-i know how much you love river phoenix and i watched my own private idaho and running on empty and thought he was an incredible actor. i can't get over how much he really reminds me of james dean but he had his own unique style of acting, too! do you have any recommendations of his movies other than those two? through the interviews i've watched he seemed like a really wonderful person
hello caitlan! i hope you don't mind me publishing this, but i do so only because lots of people just getting into river don't know where to look and i hope they notice this as well
i really loved dogfight, it is so charming it will bring you to tears. the premis sounds a little cheesy (a marine about to go to vietnam goes out with a not so pretty girl as a dare, ends up falling for her) but it is actually a really wonderful movie. river brings it to life and if anyone else played his part i think the whole movie would have fallen flat
another great one is the thing called love. once again, river makes the movie. both of these movies are easy to love and really shows off his talent and what he can do with a film. he is so lovely and interesting, and i feel like his personality really comes through in his films, especially running on empty.
and of course there's stand by me, but i feel like he was too young and hadn't come into his own yet, so his personality and style is less prominent.
i hope you decide to check them out and enjoy them!
