With his birthday coming soon, as well as Sean’s Seokli figured it would be nice if they could throw Sean a big birthday party now that he had some friends from the daycare instead of just his parents’ friends and family--which, the ladder was pretty much non-existent, with the exception of Hyun. But this year, Seok was thinking they could do something different--something that would require them to spend a little bit more of money, but at least, it would be worth it. Or so he thought it would.
After a shower, he put on some clothes, grabbed some bottles of Soju that he kept in his fridge for Hyun’s occasional visits or even Daehyun’s, then called an Uber to Honne & Colford because he wasn’t in the mood to venture into the wonders of public transportation at night. Once he’d arrived at her building, he rang the buzzer and was allowed in, taking the elevator to her floor. It was such a hot night, he hadn’t even bothered putting on a jacket to match his plain white t-shirt and black denim pants, and if he was going to drink Soju with Jinah, he knew it would only get hotter so hopefully, her windows were open so that the wind would circulate around her apartment.
Seok couldn’t help but to smile when she appeared on the other side of the door, and of course his heart skipped a beat, making him nervous that she would hear it although it was impossible. “Hi, Jinah... I know you told me not to bring anything but--” He said raising his bag and making the bottles clink against one another. “These were laying around in my fridge, so I figured I could bring us some Soju.” Once allowed in, he took off his shoes by her door, mostly out of habit when entering a korean home. “Where’s the little blabber? In his room?”
