Bossam Suyuk at Jincook
Many Korean dishes use pork as its main ingredient, including jeyuk bokkeum (fried pork), jokbal (steamed pork trotters), pork galbi, duruchigi (stir fried pork), wanja (pork meatballs) and jeon (fried pancakes).
There's one dish, however, without which it's impossible to discuss Korean pork cuisine, and that's bossam suyuk. Succulent boiled pork belly and neck, served with a variety of sauces.
Boiled pork, you ask? Won't that smell?
At Jincook, which recently opened near Gangnam Station, they put their secret cooking methods to use eliminating the pork smell, yielding a meat that is tender and savory.
Don't you want to try some bossam suyuk with a shot of soju?
Location: 5-minute walk from Exit 11 of Gangnam Station (Line 2). Just head into the Tous Les Jours alleyway; there's a Jaws Tteokbokki and a Subway Sandwich shop nearby.

Why not enjoy a nice, hot bowl of gukbap, one of Korea’s best loved winter dishes?
At Jincook, near Gangnam Station, you can savor your gukbap with a nice, cold draft beer. Jincook means “a thick soup that has been boiled for a long time.” The most popular menu item is the Suyuk Gukbap, made with tender pork neck and broth made with over 20 natural ingredients.
