that entire sentence is so condescending “and don’t even get us started on the fanfiction” excuse me that a show is popular enough to have thousands of fics written about its characters?? and it makes the fans sound like we made the chemistry up

they think we don't actually want to see derek and stiles together on the show, that we just want to read fanfictions and have fun because lol you can't be serious, they're probably straight and this will never happen, silly. they think it's a joke or some kind of fetish. and i hate them because they think they're oh so cool just because they're mentioning it
