Thinking about how Jinshi's whole thing is not wanting to have his title. He wants to escape his name and the responibilities and the cage that has been around him since birth.

Thinking about how Maomao is the same, just more successful. I feel like that makes him want her even more; she isn't just a person that he loves and desires, she represents his goals and becomes a part of them.

I went back to the story of Jinshi, disguised as Jinka, and Maomao was all dolled up by reading the Manga. I thought in the anime that Jinshi was in some official business in the establishment they were going to. But after reading Chapter 28 of the manga with the same story, I realized Jinshi was setting up a dinner date with Maomao in a nice restaurant in the pleasure district.

I might have thought of Jinshi's purpose of going to the pleasure district to meet someone because in the anime, he had Basan follow them around, giving me the impression that Jinshi needed a bodyguard in case his rendezvous might go bad.

However, in the manga, no one followed Jinka and Lady Maomao. It's just the two of them in a nice afternoon stroll in the pleasure district, while Moamao hadn't had a clue it was a date.

Stupid Jinshi had to ask Maomao questions about the courtesans and their value. If he hadn't asked about it, her mood wouldn't have soured, and he might have had the chance to bring her inside for dinner.

jin and sokka would be besties...can u see the vision

Besties, yes…but now I can’t help but ship them too. They witness each other’s big appetites and sloppy eating habits on the first date and fall in love instantly. Jin finds Sokka’s silliness endearing and he loves her spontaneity and forwardness. (Girl knows what she wants.) They’d be great together.

What should the ship be called? Sokjin or Jinkka? I like Jinkka better tbh.
