ilu ty for asking <3Again, this is based specifically on Timmy Todd from BTAS.Holiday headcanon:After RotJ, Tim hates Halloween bc of people wearing facepaint and costumes - not to mention kids dressing up like Batman and Robin (maybe even mini-Jokers showing up at his door >.>). Not to mention his own kids probably wanting to do the same…Cooking headcanon:Tim can’t cook on his own so his wife prepares all their meals. (I’d like to think he still tried to learn to make chicken soup for her when she was sick. He probably asked Barbara for help. =3=)Sleeping headcanon:Tim has serious trouble sleeping due to recurring nightmares. I also have a new headcanon now that Bruce would sing the Jigglypuff song to Tim after RotJ as a way of comforting him. He wouldn’t be able to go to sleep by himself without hearing it. ;~;Driving headcanon:This is a weird one since Tim was shown driving the Batmobile in one issue of the tie-in comics, even though I doubt he’s hit 16 yet. I assume Bruce did teach him or was in the process, although he doesn’t get a car himself until adulthood since he obviously can’t afford one on his own as a teen.Bathing/showering headcanon:Tim takes a long time since he still checks in the mirror each day to make sure Joker’s not the one staring back at him. Sometimes he’ll still envision himself wearing clown makeup and scrub obsessively (to the point of bleeding even).Hugging headcanon:Steph gives him all the hugs whenever he needs them. (Which is pretty often.) He rarely initiates, but appreciates the constant cuddling for reassurance and comfort.Kissing headcanon:He’s super-shy and awkward at it, especially since he never even experienced it or actually got to date anyone before his childhood innocence was stolen. (Unless you count giving Dick CPR. =3=)Sex headcanon:He holds off on sex for a long time - not bc he’s not interested in it (although he likely does have a low sex drive linked to PTSD), but largely in part since he’s afraid of letting anyone see his body. (See Physical Appearance.)General physical contact headcanon:He has an intense fear of intimacy due to anxiety and trust issues, and he’ll react in panic at any surprise touch (plus possibly punch that person without thinking). It took him a long time to accept any gestures such as a pat on the head without flinching.Physical appearance headcanon:I operate under the assumption that Joker did far more physical damage to him during those three weeks beyond just electrocution, since the table in the flashback was originally supposed to contain bloody surgical tools but was cut due to censors. So he likely has a multitude of lasting scars from the torture (in addition to any battle wounds). I also don’t discount the possibility Joker branded him like he did to Jason Todd in Arkham Knight, just not in as visible a place. ;(Wardrobe headcanon:He wears a lot of hoodies after the events at Arkham since they make him feel more sheltered. He also gets rid of all the red in his outfits, although after he meets Steph he starts wearing it again since she tells him he looks good in that color. ;O (What no I don’t relate these two to ShinAya what are you talking about *shifty eyes*)Jewelry headcanon:He couldn’t afford an actual diamond for Steph so they settled for gold bands (which she doesn’t mind at all even though he feels guilty for it). Their whole wedding was a pretty cheap-ass affair since they both come from poor backgrounds (his big brother offered to help foot the bill but he firmly refused since he doesn’t want to owe any more).Nickname headcanon:Boy Virgin *shot*Dancing headcanon:Tim secretly asked Barbara to teach him how to slow dance for his wedding, even though he told her he “hated it” as a kid. She did say he’d “find it useful” someday…Singing headcanon:Tim doesn’t sing himself, but I imagine his mom used to sing to him before she died. By the same token, Steph’s piano-playing helps calm him down whenever he’s having a severe panic attack. (Also see again: The Jigglypuff Song. XP)Anger headcanon:Tim has definite anger issues (that were apparent even as Robin) which can result in violence. It takes a lot of counseling for him to learn to control his rage afterwards. He can snap at his kids without meaning to as well (especially if he fears for their safety), although he always apologizes afterwards and would never, ever raise his hands towards them.Soft spot headcanon:Animals - especially birds and strays.Favorite possession headcanon:The first Batarang he picked up before he even met Batman, despite everything it ultimately led to. It still symbolizes the bond he had with Bruce, and the belief in heroes that kept him going through hard times.Favorite photograph headcanon:While it’s hard from him to look at/even be in photographs now, I’m gonna take a page from Red Hood and the Outlaws and say it’s a photo of him and Bruce from his early days when he was just starting out as Robin.Relationship with/thoughts on _____ headcanon:His relationship with his wife Stephanie is super-important and I wish there were more attention paid to it. OTL She’s such a sweet, stubborn ball of sunshine and would totally be able to help make him smile/laugh again. Even though he can be extremely clingy and overprotective towards her, it’s because he worries about her and doesn’t want to see her get hurt.
