Reliance Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer : Get Unlimited data for 3 months at ₹ 309

Reliance Jio has announced new data plans that will come into effect after April 15, when the deadline to subscribe to Jio Prime membership gets over and free Jio services end.The new plans offer consumers up to 168GB data at a price of Rs 608. This price is for new completely new Jio users. For everyone else the price is lower. For the Prime members the price is lowest at Rs 509 for the same amount of data. As it happens with calls, messages and national roaming are all free.

In what looks like a screenshot of some mobile or web page, the Jio plans start from Rs 309 and go up to Rs 608. There are two plans shown in the photo, based on the data cap for a day.

There are basically two pans: 1GB data and 2GB data plans. This data is for one day.

Here are the 1GB data plan for Prime users, non-prime members and those who have newly subscribed to Jio network.

Important: We are assuming that the data offered is for 28 days. This means the 1GB plan will give users 28GB data in a billing cycle. The 2GB plans will give 56GB data. But at the same time, the plans also mention 3X. It is not clear if this three times is for validity of the plan or for extra data. India Today Tech has have asked Jio for a clarification and will update when Jio responds.

Update: Jio has confirmed that the validity of these data plans will be three months. This means if you spend Rs 309 and if you are a Prime member, you will get 84GB data for 84 days (around 3 months).

1. Rs 309 plan for Prime customers: Users who have already taken the Prime subscription for Rs 99 will get unlimited voice calls, SMSes and 1GB 4G data per day for 84 days at Rs 309. At the same time, if 3X is about extra data, then make it 84 days.

2. Rs 349 plan for non-Prime users: For those who haven’t enrolled for Prime subscription yet, they can avail unlimited voice calls, SMSes and 1GB 4G data per day for 84 days at RS 349.

3. Rs 408 plan for new customers: Those who have newly bought a Jio SIM, they can avail 1GB data plan by paying Rs 408. They will also get unlimited voice calls, SMSes and 1GB 4G data per day for 84 days but at greater price.

The 2GB data plan starts from Rs 509 and goes up to Rs 608. Here is what it offers.

1. Rs 509 plan for Prime customers: Users who have already taken the Prime subscription for Rs 99 will get unlimited voice calls, SMSes and 2GB 4G data per day for 84 days at RS 309.

2. Rs 549 plan for non-Prime users: For those who haven’t enrolled for Prime subscription yet, they can avail unlimited voice calls, SMSes and 2GB 4G data per day for 84 days at RS 349.

3. Rs 608 plan for new customers: Those who have newly bought a Jio SIM, they can avail 1GB data plan by paying Rs 408. They will also get unlimited voice calls, SMSes and 2GB 4G data per day for 84 days but at greater price.

The important point to note in these new plans is that the price you pay for data is now almost same for Prime and non-Prime users. Prime users still get (pssibly) extra benefits and do pay marginally lower price for data, but otherwise the plans for all kinds of Jio users are now very similar.
