in 2013 i stumbled across a band named twenty one pilots. the first song i heard was holding onto you, and then the rest of the vessel album. man, the impact it had on me. then blurryface came out. the amounts of time i stayed alive for the boys. depression is something i’ve always struggled with, but chanting “we’re broken people” made me feel less alone. knowing that someone as amazing as tyler, and the entire clique, felt that way breaks me in a beautiful way. february 15, 2017 ; a day that will forever be with me. i saw them. i - a cluster of emotions were with me that night. seeing the men who helped me over come my self harm, seeing the men who made me believe i was lovely, like i had a purpose, it really stays with you. everyone there was so nice and welcoming. the clique is so amazing, i love everyone in here. stay alive my fren, power to the local dreamer ||-//
