it's the perfect plan, the one that can't go wrong because it's being carried out by mr perfect. that's why jongin knows it'll go smoothly because as long as someone like jisoo follows what he's supposed to do, no one would ever suspect him and jongin can get off scot-free for all of it. not that he's particularly worried about any sort of backlash, but it would be the first time in forever that he isn't the culprit.... entirely. he is playing the mastermind behind the plan, but with jisoo carrying it out.... perfect.

he tries his best to swallow his grin, trying not to tip off any of the adults as he makes his way over to the class president, but his eyes are still shining like twin bonfires. he stops very close to jisoo, very much in his space and slips him two casks, one of pure whiskey and the other of soju. "okay be careful... and stealthy." he isn't sure jisoo knows how to be stealthy, but now is the time to find out. he turns a bit and points over to the drinks table, near the desserts. "don't let them see you pour it into the punch ball."

Ever since he could remember, Junhoe had always been compassionate towards every person out there. He didn’t waste time holding grudges against anyone and when a moment called for it, he was ready to even save the worst enemy from trouble. It was something deeply rooted in his upbringing and for years when in general he had changed — starting from his self-esteem — this one trait about him hadn’t. Sometimes he would curse himself for being more worried about others than his own self, though. There are so many bad people in this world already, so why would I be one of them too? This thought would often storm through his mind.

Being so occupied with contemplating over a certain poem he had stumbled across in the morning, all of sudden he found himself in a part of the city that wouldn’t ring any bell. Furrowing his thick eyebrows, he stopped and turned around, so his eyes could drink in the surroundings and hopefully identify the locations. Fortunately, spotting the street’s name and then a familiar bar in the distance helped him in stating that he was still wandering about Southwest. Having another look around, he eventually turned right and continued his late-night adventure back home.

Vaguely scanning the people’s faces, Junhoe frowned in confusion as he caught a glimpse of Jisoo. If she had been alone, he would’ve probably passed by with a greeting rolling of his tongue, yet the man accompanying her didn’t give the vibe of an exemplary gentleman. Although June wasn’t the type to judge a person’s appearance, the guy seemed to be a low-life. His jaw clenched, nostrils already flaring. Stepping towards them briskly, he coughed significantly to draw their attention.

sumin wasn’t sure how she ended up agreeing (it was more like she couldn’t even say no at all) to do this work, having to follow some client’s daughter out of nowhere just because she happened to be in the same school as hers. it was ridiculous enough to think about it yet here she was in front of the sweet kisses after being told by the said client that her daughter often came here. “why the hell do i need to watch over a teenager now, am i some sort of a babysitter or something?” she babbled on her own, pulling the hoodie over her head before stepping into the store. sumin was certain she saw the girl a few times at school when she received her picture from the woman, she was quite a beauty though, but never once did they ever talk or come to meet face to face with each other. 

if she hadn’t forgotten about it her name was seo jisoo and she was a year younger than sumin, not like she cared that much, it wasn’t like she was doing this just because she wanted to. her eyes roamed around the room and stopped when they had finally captured the target, a sigh of relief managed to slip out of her mouth, she would be very done if she had been late and lost the girl. she kept a distance from the girl who was wearing the same school uniform as hers and confirmed that she went to cheongnam as well, pretending to look at those sweet treats displayed while glancing towards jisoo at the same time. 

she must be insane, why the fuck would she follow a schoolmate like this again? she wanted to run away so hard and just stop doing things the mafia had told her to do as if she was some kind of a dog they owned, knowing that she would have no choice but to obey them anyways. every once in a while sumin was lost in her thought while she stared at jisoo, only to look away after their eyes met and pretend as if she was looking around for something to buy. she cursed internally for being so obvious at the moment, she wasn’t supposed to get caught because that was what she promised jisoo’s mother anyhow—to make sure jisoo is safe while keeping a distance from her and never get caught.
