park minjoon was an overconfident individual. maybe it came with being the younger twin, or maybe it came from trying to get out of his brother’s shadow all the time; but he could admit that he was an overconfident (and borderline cocky) person whose confidence shot higher that namsan tower. his twin (and maybe even sora) remind him most of the time to take it down a notch and sometimes he does. but only just. after all, if there was anyone who minjoon listened to while they were in keisung, it was his twin. but either way, he was confident and cocky and incredibly sure of himself.
until he was faced with jung jisoo. the soft-spoken stoner was the unlikely friend he made in keisung, often hanging out with his roommate that he’s just come to know him as well. despite jisoo being older than him, minjoon found it unusually endearing how quiet and shy he was, although it worried him as well. and he couldn’t deny how good-looking the other was either. for some odd reason, he wanted to be the reason why jisoo would smile or laugh or giggle or anything just remotely positive on his face because for all intents and purposes, it made him happy as well. laden with impulse, the fame chaser went out of his way to seek out jisoo, mentally repeating something in his head, until a smile made its way on his face when he finally found who he was looking for, approaching him the second he saw him. “hey,” he started out awkwardly, “are you—uh—is friday—um—are you free on friday evening?”, he stuttered out, “i have...i have a gig that night. just a rap cypher, nothing major. i was wondering...i was wondering if you wanted to go?” and if anyone noticed how different minjoon was acting, he sure as hell hoped no one would call him out for it.
