Jitterbug’s Game Information Masterpost

All of the information collected so far on Jitterbug’s Game, all in one place. (Disclaimer: This is a fictional video game featuring horrorsona/horror characters created by yours truly. All characters used belong to me and are used for entertainment/coping purposes)

Key concept: You, the player, have entered the decrepit grounds of an abandoned mansion in search of a missing loved one. Once there, you find yourself unable to leave, instead having to avoid or escape what now resides within the grounds.

Key characters:

Protage - The protagonist, whom the player controls. His search for his missing daughter has led him to the mansion, and he is determined to not only survive, but to find and escape with her as well.

Jitterbug - Primary antagonist. An inhuman creature that seeks to subject Protage to their numerous ‘games’ and twisted musical numbers for their own amusement. They have free reign of most of the house.

The Exterminator - Minor antagonist. Lives on the grounds and uses their own spider-like body and captive rats to hunt down and eliminate pests. It has a perfect track record and endless patience when pursuing prey.

Cuddle Bunny - Minor antagonist. A sentient stuffed rabbit toy. The large slash in its stomach houses numerous pieces of paper in amongst the stuffing; numerous letters from miserable children wishing to escape. It is believed these letters are what gave the rabbit sentience. It lives in the basement.

Protag is so sick and tired of Jitterbug by the time the DLC rolls around, and Jitterbug actually has to ask for his help, that he almost laughs out loud at the concept of helping the creature that toyed with his life for entertainment
