I think I’m a JiYi shipper now.
They’re both immortals who have grown cold in different ways, Ji through apathy and Yi through cruelty.
Ji stands as one of the last vestiges of Taoism, while Yi is staunchly atheistic for most of the game.
One wants his existence to end, while the other clings to life to build the future.
Maybe everything would have been better if they just vented to each other and kissed and then fu-
JiYi got me thinking too hard.
Ji and Yi are a supportive couple bonded through a shared trauma, one needs the other to be an anchor and vice versa. Both of them act aloof and nonchalant about their issues, but eventually the walls begin to break. Ji starts trying to unpack his literal centuries of isolation while Yi tries to find better outlets for his anger.
Their relationship is one of reciprocal empathy and tearful embraces, knowing and accepting that they’re both broken while trying to hold the other together.
Ji doesn’t want to see another once in a generation prodigy waste his life.
Yi wants to hold onto one of the few people who truly understands him.
It’s been a long time TUMBLR :)
오랜만예요! Tumblr을 보고 싶었어요~
I’ve missed browsing tumblr :)
I think I need to be active here to reduce stress from work :P
It’s time to be back :D
By the way, I have been watching K-drama lately since I want to gain motivation in studying Korean Language (Hangeul/한글). Currently, I am a Level 1 passer in TOPIK (Test in Profeciency in Korean). And I am planning to aim for Level 3 or Level 4 in April. So, I am doing my best to be motivated. I also think that watching Kdramas would also help me with my listening skills.
The Kdrama that I am watching right now is High Society (상류사회).
And I like it. It really is “nakakakilig”. I really love it due to Chang soo <3 Ji Yi Love team. Maybe because they really love each other. They are also cute together. Their sarcasm way of sweetness really got me. And I think Chang soo really is a good catch. Very charming. :)
I can also see Chang soo’s sincerity. A jerk director turned into a helpless lover. A chaebol’s son who is supposed to be arranged in marrying a girl with the same status ended up falling in love with a commoner.
I am still not yet finished in watching the drama, though. But I think this is really a good drama. Aside from the “kilig” moments, the story is interesting. A rich-poor love team, which started from impure intention turned into true love.
And that’s Yoonha <3 Joon Gi pair :D
I don’t like Joon Gi at first because I really sensed something weird/bad about him on the first few episodes. And it turned out that I was right. He really was bad at first but due to Yoonha’s charms, he fell in love afterwards. Then, it would be up to how strong their love for each other in order to reach each other’s feelings. I hope it would turn out well. Good luck to you Joon Gi! Yoonha’s having a stoned heart now. hehe.
Now, I’m going to continue watching :D
Good night!

Surprisingly, these two have quite similar personalities and fit well together. Maybe that's why Changsoo fell so hard.

The cold shoulder gives me chills. The end of this episode frustrated me because Jiyi isn't supposed to take Yoonha's place. What is this when the double wrist grab happens with the second female lead instead of the first? #HeirsThrowback
