Like if someone were to idk, sneak up on her or whatever, what would she do (I know she's the master of sight and all but), just wondering for.... Uh stuff...... I’m always taking asks about anything really, esPECIALLY my OCs!!

Can Cora sense people creeping up on her?

She somewhat can, but it’s not (always) related to her power!

Her powers allow her to use the sight of any living organism around her, so she’s kind of always “scanning” around her. So, if something is at least 20 meters close to her, she can technically sense it right away.

Ever since she lost her sight though, Jacob has been teaching her how not to rely on her power to sense people. Cora is a terrible student though, and cheats most of the times. Plus, she feels safe when using her powers, and she always does.

In the rare occasion that she doesn’t use them, she can kinda tell when someone is creeping up on her. However, if Cora were not to use her power, it means that she literally has no other choice. It’s like a last resort to her, when she’s really exhausted. This means that she’s super sleepy and tired around that point, so she just can’t function lmao

Which is why Cora sleeps like ten hours per day, she uses her powers so much that she exhausts herself

aNYWAY I’M RAMBLING, to answer your question, yes, she can sense people with (and kind of) without her powers!
