Johann Joachim Quantz - Flute Concerto in D major, QV. 5:45 (c. 1740s?)

A most demanding flute work. Quantz was music tutor to Frederik the Great and was also a contemporary of JS Bach. Quantz wrote the definitive guide ‘On Playing the Flute a classic of Baroque Music Instruction,’ which is widely read to this day.
