Hello, anon 🥰Thanks so much for this ask 💜

I know it's been months, but I didn't forget - I just wasn't writing very much at the end of last year. I wanna change that this year, and this ask fits my chaotic writing habits very well, since I'm bouncing around between WIPs all the time, anyway. Took me a while to add something to 10 WIPs, but here we go

Also, I wanna expand the challenge: for anyone who replies with or sends me the number of any of these WIPs I'll add another sentence! 🥰

1. - One of Your Girls - otayuri, post-canon, E

“Pasha,” he says to his cat curled up at the foot of his bed, keeping his ever watchful judgmental eyes on him, “I think I gotta buy a wig.”

Pasha looks at him for a moment, then slowly gets up, stretches, and hops off the bed to leave the room.

Otabek sighs. “Fair enough.”

2. - Three Body Problem - omegaverse Otapliroy, E

“Hypothetically," Otabek said, "Would you have bonded with her?”

JJ let out an annoyed breath that made his nostrils flare.

“Yes, I would have,” he hissed, eyes hard, “I'd bond with a goddamn table-cloth if it got me out of here, Beks.”

3. - Untitled Camboy AU - otayuri, E

His make-up seems to make him glow, highlighting rosy cheeks and smokey eyes and glossy pink lips. It's all stark contrasts, harsh lines and soft fabric, leather and lace, black as midnight on Yuri's milky white skin. He's the kitten and the cream all in one.

4. - Can't put my finger on it - pre-canon JJBek, M

“Shouldn't you be doing stuff like this with her now instead?”

JJ almost chokes on the shocked breath he sucks in, staring at Otabek in absolute horror.

“Are you out of your mind?!”

5. - From the Candy Store on the Corner to the Chapel on the Hill - otayuri 1950s AU, E

“You're not invited!” Katie shrieked, and hastily tried to shut the door in Otabek's face. It met the steel cap of his boot and he simply wedged himself inside, dark eyes briefly fixing her with an unimpressed glance.

“Do I look like I care?”

6. - Out of context - otayuri, post-canon, M

Great, so even the team's physiotherapist was speculating on who Yuri was sleeping with? Fucking fantastic.

“Dima, too,” Lilia added.

“The zamboni driver?!”

7. - Untitled Mafia AU no 45645327 - otayuri, E

Yuri cackled. “Kinda wanna lie and say yes just to make you mad at me.”

Otabek grabbed his chin and glared down at him.

“Wouldn't recommend that. I'm already fucking mad.”

8. - I promise I won't let you down (if you take my hand tonight) - JJ/Bella/Leo Band AU, E

“What's your favorite song of ours?” Leo asks, a safe go-to question when it comes to fans.

He wonders if he should warn her that if she says “Eyes of a Soldier” now, as many fans do, she might ruin her chances of getting anywhere near JJ's pants tonight, much less into them. It's the only song in their entire discography that Otabek wrote, and it's also their most successful song to date, reaching far beyond their usual bubble. JJ hates it with a passion that's almost comical.

9. - Uphill Battle - omegaverse otayuri, E

“He had the fucking gall to tell me he could easily take this kingdom by force if he wanted to, and I very nearly needed to change underwear.”

Mila slapped a hand over her mouth to stifle a shrill squeal. “Because you almost soiled yourself in fear, or because...?”

“Or because.” Yuri huffed, cheeks flaming.

10. - (not?) a Vampire? - otayuri, T

Someone bangs against the wall next to them, giving Yuri a start. He opens his eyes, blinking against the glaring lights from the bar and the strobelights from the dancefloor, slowly resurfacing from the haze. Next to them, one of the barkeepers is giving them an amused look.

“You might wanna take that to the backroom before it escalates, Altin.”

This was fun and actually made me write (more than just 3 sentences, in some cases, even) so thanks again for the motivation, anon <3

Summary: Shortly after fifteen-year-old Otabek moves to Toronto to train with Alain and Nathalie Leroy, he finds himself crushing on their oldest son, JJ, the current junior World Champion. Too bad JJ already has a gorgeous girlfriend and considers himself straight. Though Otabek tries to move on from his hopeless crush by finding a girlfriend of his own, when JJ and Isabella unexpectedly break-up, he discovers that JJ may not be as straight as he claims to be... they were 15-ish and were trained together in Canada. JJ was like ur gym best bro, Bek was shy & stoic af. He had no friends there but Otabek was absolutely fine with it, until JJ wiggled his way in and they became friends! On a surface level, it seemed as only JJ was having fun but Otabek had a really good time too. After spending some time together, turned out JJ wasn't "too loud" for Otabek, listening to him was fun enough.

JJ'd start their conversation by blabbering about his day then turned to ask Otabek "and what 'bout ya?" "Need anything?" --> was indeed caring and enthusiastic . One time JJ saw Otabek crying alone and jumped right in ( he couldn't comfort Otabek but bro tried his best)

Gradually Otabek had feelings for JJ, but dude had zero experience with friendship or love whatsoever so it took him long enough (till JJ got his first girlfriend) to figure it out. He neither confessed nor dropped a hint, so naturally he'd distract himself from it. His interactions with JJ gradually became less frequent and more awkward. However, when his feelings nearly exploded and he thought there was no way he could keep them to himself, Otabek was advised to train at America. Boy oh boy he was so dying to do that.

JJ was damn sad... like his homie left and their dynamic at the time was weird and uncomfortable as hell. JJ was confrontational but Otabek brushed it off everytime JJ brought that up through the phone. He kinda gave up and they didn't even talked properly until the GPF- JJ and his gym bro attitude again or so Otabek thought. They met at the airport, but Beks (got over JJ but still shocked) didn't respond to JJ as warmly as he intended to. Then they parted ways again despite JJ's effort of just getting to talk 2 him

However!!! They did hang out after the GPF and cleared things out (not everything lol) and were homies again. Otabek also asked JJ not to refer to Yuri as "lady", which he gladly agrees. JJ suggested that they text more bc "bro you don’t know how much I gotta sayyyy"

later on they even collaborated on a song (became a trending cursed audio on tiktok) and Otabek opened up more abt his personal life to JJ (JJ was so eager to give Beks advice since he knew he had a crush on Yuri) ...then they were homies. Otabek was JJ's best man. Happy ending!!
