What about an AU where Charles and Erik excuse themselves every night citing they’ll just finish a game of chess and head to bed. One day, the kids are shit bored, and decide to play chess (for fun), and since Charles and Erik are playing chess all the time, they invite one or both to play, and realise very quickly that they’re shit at it, and doesn’t know which way a knight moves. That raises the inevitable question… Then what the fuck do they do every night!!?
