There’s something very believable about a man who wants to save the world so badly that he starts managing people instead of trusting them. And I do love the tension with Magneto. Charles has the softer dream, but he’s not harmless. He’s powerful, wealthy, connected, secretive, and sitting in everyone’s head half the time. You understand why people follow him, and you also understand why people might be scared of him."

As someone on tiktok so helpfully pointed out, Charles Xavier was raised in Westchester, New York. Like legitimately raised there for most of his life, and depending on the iteration his parents die pretty when he's pretty young. So realistically he shouldn't have that strong of a British accent

I propose that he has a horrible mashup accent where some words sound British while the others sound American. I can picture him playing up/leaning into the British accents when he's older to come across cooler and more mysterious, but I imagine once you get closer to him his real way of speaking slips out more
