this makes so much sense for Yujis character. Like for all the shit I give gege for being a shit writer (in terms of just offing characters) he’s honestly also great because Yujis mudra being a guiding soul/guardian of souls just makes me cry.

Especially at the beginning of the manga and anime, yuji talks about wanting to give people a proper death. It was his main motivator as a sorcerer.

not a day goes by when I don't think about what gege said in that one interview... about the main jjk trio + gojo and jjk's ending. that either 3 will die and 1 stays alive, or 1 will die and 3 stay alive. and I've always hoped the first scenario will turn out to be true. with JJK264 I have a bit of hope — yuuji manages to free megumi, he stays alive and we either get a nobara or a gojo comeback.

BUT if the latter is true... that means gojo and nobara stay dead with no hope for a comeback and either megumi/yuuji dies. (leaning towards yuuji's death bc of the whole "start by saving me, itadori" foreshadowing) and my brain is never gonna recover from that yall... I'm scared.
