▲ After being enlisted for a while the idol learned the army composure, the way he was supposed to talk and behave, it wasn’t that difficult but it took him a bit to get used to. If there was something JJ had completely absorbed was the way to act in front of a person with higher ranking than him and especially in front of a General, so when the General Kang called him to a side, the now soldier knew there was no way of ignoring the man, not like he wanted to, but when such a person calls you out it’s kind of difficult not to freak out a little bit. The older man asked the Corporal to follow him and so did he. Once they were away from the others, he could notice a girl standing there, and just as he thought, the General Kang led him to her. “Corporal, she is my daughter Kang Yuzi, she is a dancer. Yuzi, this is Corporal Kim.” His words were sharp but he could sense some sort of pride in them, he may be wrong, but decided not to think much about it and bow to the younger girl in front of him. The older man left after both of them bowed to each other and JJ couldn’t hold back his soft laugh. “I assume I need no introduction any longer, your father already did.” The atmosphere was quite awkward but he wouldn’t blame the girl, she looked like she had no idea what was going on.
❅ Idols enlisting, it wasn't a rarity, even they needed to do their time of service, something she always knew, getting notificated for each of them, whenever one was at their base, as if it made a difference, to know or not, she wasn't in contact with them personally, if occasion wants it, she'd dance with them, that being all. But such scene occured seldomly, being called out by her father, strict as always, telling her to watch her practices, to keep fit, to not make mistakes, mistakes weren't allowed in this family.
She felt odd, standing in front of their house alone, needing to wait for her father, wait for whatever he wanted form her, nice acts not that common, though, he had grown more affectionate, triggered by that accident, now more caring, giving her a break, if need be. Out of all the possibilities, not even that many, the general wasn't one to gift presents, a soldier came unexpected, confusing her for the moment, eyes darting from father to stranger, unable to settle with one, not until the other was gone. Left alone, standing in front of a stranger, left only with his name, trying to figure the reason, whether she should know him, silence fell upon them, some moments that made her uncomfortable. It took her a bit, hesitating for some moments, finally opening her mouth, battling with her tongue to move. "Want some coffee?" It was stiff, an awkward invitation, yet out of an attempt, trying to be nice, to give him a break, knowing the army life wasn't easy, she had seen it, ever since she was small, the rigorous training, the different sides of instructors, it was harsh. It seemed only fair, after already having gotten introduced, not inviting him in, after all, standing in front of the house, following the indirect wish of her father, to at least talk to that man, ignoring her own social incapabilities.
