An Announcement

The Office's quiet is interrupted by a loud crackle and the sound of shuffling papers, until a distantly familiar voice rings out, echoing through the halls how it used to.

"Ladies and gentlemen and other, this is your Narrator speaking. It seemed that I had to cut a week of my family reunion short due to some troubles...or more specifically //one troublemaker//. I have taken care of him. He wont bother anyone again, at least not in this Office."

"I'd like to hereby apologize for the stress he caused and hope you've managed to have a merry Christmas nonetheless. I've also noticed a relieving lack of cats around here, so thank you for getting rid of them before I came back."

There is a pause. Someone is rummaging around their desk until-

"The final weeks of this month will be dedicated to the spirit of Christmas. No parable, no arguements and I will even put up with you l-lovely...employees. Even the one who sent me a painting of a donkey and claimed it was a portrait You know who you are. Thank you, its quite the picture. I'll have it framed in the Lounge right away. ... Have a great Christmas everyone. I hope it can be merry as well."

As Jonathan signs off, the Office changes.

The lights dim down and christmas lights appear instead, running across the hallway and into rooms. Soft music began playing as the framed pictures change from landscapes to winter wonderlands. The Lounge is modified as well. The vending machine now serves hot chocolate and there's an average sized Chrisymas tree in the corner, strung with colorful lights.

The entire Office is looking festive and for once, it feels almost like home.
