Three years of mermaids!

I don't know what was going on with me last year. Just like the necklace is missing from Clemence's princess costume in last weekend's set of pictures, apparently I forgot to give Emi the mask to this costume last year too.

I set up a corner with a good photo backdrop and felt that everyone deserved new portraits that are fun and visually interesting.

Our first day of the year in the 70's (almost 80 degrees!) -- it's too hot for sweaters!

Hm. Apparently I need to clean Tanvi's glasses.

Like me, Tanvi is very impatiently waiting for us to get some goddamn snow already. It's December in Massachusetts (and we live in the mountains -- in the so-called Snow Belt of the state -- at that!) and it's snowed all of twice, and both times didn't stick for more than a couple hours.

I didn't feel like trekking outside today and I have yet to show off some of the doll PJs I have, so I put Skylar, Melody, and Tanvi into something a bit more comfortable and set them up with everything they needed for a slumber party! Skylar is wearing the Bell Sleeve Flower Power PJ's from 2004, Melody is wearing the Butterfly Garden PJ's and Robe set from 2012, and Tanvi is wearing the Petals and Plaid PJ's from 2014.

All very appropriate (and adorable) for this time of year.
