The John Mayer 30-day Challenge - Day29

#29 Where do you hope to see him in 10 years' time? Honestly, I just hope by then he'd be happily married and has a small family of his own (I really wish he'd have a daughter). His dad may have married at an older age, but whenever I look at him the past couple of years, he looks lonelier. I just wish he finds that someone who can balance him out and who will love him for who he is and isn't. not who he can be or how he "was". His songs may or may not reflect parts of him longing for that half of his heart. I can only wish and pray he finds the same thing we all are looking for - the right "one". With him -- "I believe, that my(his) life's gonna see the love I(he) give(s) return to me(him)."

The John Mayer 30-day Challenge - Day28

#28 How often do you listen to his music? be honest. Is everyday enough? No, I didn't think so either. - I keep him on the background at work (using my tumblr stream) - I have him on my car, listening to him while driving home or driving anywhere, really. - I have him on my phone - my wake-up alarm is Stop this train or any song I fancy.. so I wake up not really alarmed but with a nice smile on my face. - I have his songs on my jogging playlist. Yes, I thought it would be weird listening to non-upbeat songs while jogging, but he actually helped me relax and not even feel I'm getting tired because I sing along while I do my weekend morning jogs. So, I guess I listen to him... From the moment I wake up.

The John Mayer 30-Day challenge - Day27 #27 Favourite Interview This is a tough one because he's just crazy adorable in interviews! I think any interview that leaves us all smiling and laughing ESPECIALLY those that make a few of us laughing while the rest goes "huh?" ... I love that. He's got a certain kind of humor that not everyone can get ... and I love it! This one though... was really just. damn it adorable. Especially this part when he suddenly became the "interviewer". It's from a swedish (i think) talk show.. he was with a swedish politician/ambassador, a swedish actress or model or other.. and some other guy, i forget... and he's just so comfortable in his own skin. THAT is just so HOT about him. His confidence, his candor... his head. the way he thinks! just... The politician must be looking at him and thinking.. "who the hell does this guy think he is?" Why was I put in the same slot/show as this guy and he gets to do most of the talking when there's 4 of us here? haha! plus, look at his face when the girl said "when did that ever happen?" ugh. I love it. I know the JM fam gets just why.

The John Mayer 30-day Challenge - Day26

#26 Have you ever met him? No. I'm probably going to need so much big-time connections or some pure unadulterated luck to get the tiniest bit of chance to meet him. At least if you live in the US - NY or LA you get that chance of bumping into him... I live 30,000 miles away and he's only ever been here once for a concert. slim to none chance of ever meeting him.

The John Mayer 30-Day challenge - Day25 #25 Have you ever been to a live show? YES! So Happy and Proud to say YES for so many reasons... 1. We never thought he'd ever drop by Manila. 2. For nearly 10 years I've been a fan and he decided to come and have his concert when I could definitely afford the closer seats. I wasn't up front, but I got the next most expensive haha! 3. This was by far the most unique concert experience I've ever had... It was held on an open field and the monsoons decided to grace us with NON-STOP rain that night! YES, I was SOAKING WET! we all were! He even joked "Gotta be careful, I don't want any youtube videos of John Mayer slipping and falling on his concert" - something like that. 4. He was ending his BattleStudies tour and John Mayer - was one of my best companions during my saddest, most heartbreaking moments and I've said this before... Battle Studies was perfect for that time of my life. I watched this concert alone - my bestfriend has moved to Houston by then and my husband has found another life with someone else. It was therapeutic just singing my heart off and crying with the rain during my favorite songs. Nobody cared, and I didn't care that I was crying during some songs and closing my eyes, taking in the music, the crowd and the rain. Yes. I have been to a live show and I can NEVER forget that experience. The vid is from the said concert. The John Mayer 30-day Challenge - Day24

#24 Be Honest. Do you like him for his Orgasmic Music or his Good Looks? I think you forgot to include - his Amazing way with words. I honestly loved his music first. Room For Squares was just a "WOW" kind of album. Your Body Is A Wonderland - come on! What girl didn't have weak knees after intently listening to that song?! Then... reading his tweets and blogs and listening/watching his interviews... he was just a different kind of guy. He's not the normal, "commercial" type of musician and songwriter. He was the WHOLE package. I also have to be honest... this guy just got better as he grew older. I'm talking about looks now. Room For Squares? He looked like a dork. sorry, he really did :p Come his next album. Looking much cooler and badass.. Continuum... Goodness, I couldn't even... Where the Light is.. Damn. Battle Studies.. do I have to continue? He's a perfect example of men "ageing" like fine wine. I KNOW he's not yet aged, but would you JUST look at him?! he gets better and better as the years pass. it's not even fair. Oh, John Mayer - be my Valentine this year! :)

The John Mayer 30-day Challenge - Day23

#23 Describe your ultimate fantasy Fantasy? I wouldn't call it a fantasy... but I've always dreamt I'd bump into him while I'm vacationing in France or Italy. Somewhere away from the crowds. Away from anyone (but me of course!) who could possibly recognize him. He'd also be vacationing - no bodyguards whatsoever. Just him and a friend or maybe one of his brothers. I'll probably be with my bestfriend (the one I just spoke about in yesterday's challenge). In that dream I'd recognize him, politely say I'm a fan and ask for a picture or an autograph or something. Then we'd realize we're staying in the same hotel and probably going to the same places - we'd talk like normal people would every time we bump to each other. Share some meals together or just go around places talking. End that vacation having had conversations with him almost every day. Yes, that's my ultimate fantasy. To have a few days of conversations with him - not about him, but with him. about anything not relating to John Mayer and his music. I'm probably not the only one who'd do anything to have a chance to talk to this guy for at least half a day. I think, a big part of his charm and likability is how great he is with words and how we all think he'd make a great partner/counterpart in the silliest or craziest, most passionate arguments or conversations. Call me crazy, but I think a man who can make good conversation is a winner - even if they don't look as gorgeous as John.

#22 Do you and your friends share a mutual love for John Mayer? I have one friend who shared my absolute love for John Mayer. My bestfriend in college - I think she bought "Room For Squares" first. and then i had to buy mine. then we both bought a 2nd one because it was getting overused in our cars. 10 years down the road - she's moved on to other things, but I kept my John Mayer love. She's aware I'm still crazy about John Mayer - we just don't have the same enthusiasm for him anymore.
