The plaintive pop of Brooklyn-based project gobbinjr is sweet to the final note. New EP “Vom Night” is written in a melancholy first-person perspective with self-doubts and expression making life into a bittersweet punch. 

Led by songwriter Emma Jerk Witmer, gobbinjr’s songs are bedroom-pop peppered with keyboard sound collages that range from deep organ to lovingly plucked and playful synth melodies. Catch them on tour this month with Thelma (Tiny Engines).
