A sharpshooter from Derecho, Asteroid has a great feel for the wind, can hit a target dead-on even in 20mph winds, and is the best archer in the entire group. No one really knows what the fuck is up with her familiar, and the only answer she ever gives is "It's a dog." Fortunately, what her familiar is doesn't matter nearly as much as what its made of and what it can do, and Scope here can run even faster that Asteroid's arrows.
She's never seen a real battle before, though. And she underestimates just how dangerous the Aphotian kings are. fortunately she's in a squad with alamandine who is happy to let her know when her ideas are 'Suicidal, dangerous, and just really fucking stupid.'

Survived an encounter with Obsidian, but just barely. Probably because he wasn’t Obsidian’s actual target. He shouldn’t be fighting, but he will if he has to. For the most part, Dot has him on reconnaissance missions.
Also when I say he shouldn’t be fighting I mean He Is Permanently Fucked Up. He never fully healed from his ordeal, he’s in constant pain, and for some reason he won’t stop bleeding?
Frankly he shouldn’t be doing any physical activity for very long. But no one can convince him to Not just power through it. At least Dot convinced him to avoid combat, I guess…?
He won't tell anyone where he was before this, but wherever it was seems to have been leeching the color out of pretty every part of him that wasn't red (blood, scarf, etc) or black (eyes, pants, etc). his clothes are taking a while to go back to normal, but his skin and hair are much closer to the shade they used to be. He's still pretty washed out. and it still weirds him out a little when he looks in the mirror
Stands back and watches the others when making plans, for the most part. He’ll chime in when called, or when he’s got an idea, or when they need to stop fucking fighting, but usually stays quiet.
He’s not exactly anti-social, but he’s not sure how to talk to anyone here. He was alone for a long time before he met Peridot. He can be very friendly when you get to know him! But he’s also just weird and can be quite off-putting.
Citrine has, on multiple occasions, threatened to tie him to a bed and make him rest if he doesn’t take more breaks. He protests that he’s fine. Everyone else joins Citrine’s side, reminds him that he needs to rest more than they do, and promises they’ll help Citrine if he keeps this shit up.
No one’s actually seen him really use his magic. They’re not sure what it does. He won’t tell. This reassures no one.
Alamandine (Red/UF Sans)
Their universe is basically empty. Their home town? Gone. Nearby towns? Abandoned. Their whole family? Gone. All they have left of their old life are the clothes on their back, and a picture of them and their brother.
Glares at everyone constantly. Very passive-aggressive. It’s hard to tell if they like you or not.
Not Asteroid’s biggest fan. She’s too naïve and, in Alamandine’s words, ‘ditzy’. She doesn’t seem to take this shit with Obsidian seriously sometimes.
They’re one of the most devoted to stopping Obsidian, which means they are absolutely ready to die if it’ll help the Resistance kill him for good.
The second-best fighter in the group, behind Citrine. And ready to crack skulls at a moment’s notice.
Citrine’s the only one who can get them to back down from a fight. She usually encourages it though. They get along great! Mostly
The barbed wire on their bat is rusty. You really, really don’t want to get hit with that. Don’t even touch the spikes unless you’re wearing halfway decent gloves.
Sapphire (Hearts/Lust)
fuck it. he/him femme lesbian. Why not. (In all seriousness though, the idea had been rolling around in my head for a while. Most he/him lesbians i hear of are butch ladies, so… i wanted to spice it up some. And Sapphire just happened to end up in the line of fire)
Couldn’t decide on a casual outfit so have two. The one with the long skirt was made first. It’s my favorite skirt leave me alone
He’s not much of a fighter, in terms of both physical ability and the will to hurt others, but he’s very good at gathering information. He still has to be able to defend himself if need be, but he’s got a lot of stamina so he can usually outrun any serious danger he finds himself in
He doesn’t talk much about his home. And if he does, it’s never anything about his actual life there; just his universe as a whole. Is he hiding something? Avoiding painful memories? Only Sapphire knows.
It’s especially weird that he doesn’t like to talk about where he comes from, because he’s very open about pretty much everything else. So chatty…
He absolutely has flirted with dot at least a few times. What came of that is up to interpretation.
Asteroid (Outer)

Gravity is different in Outertale, so she got Fucking Tall. she’s slowly shrinking as she stays in a place with typical earth gravity, but currently she is 6’11’’.
Part of that weirdness is because she, and everyone else where they live, have been in space so long that they’ve started to get weird. They haven’t deviated quite enough to really be non-human, but they’re uh. They’re getting close. You can see the skin, and the ears, but she’s also got fangs and her eyes are Weird, and not just because of the color.
She’s one of the lucky few in the resistance who hasn’t had their homes attacked by Obsidian, but it’s only a matter of time. And she knows it
That said, she’s also joined so recently that she’s had 0 personal experience with Obsidian and his team. She's seen the aftermath on the news, she’s been to the nearly-flattened towns as they’ve started rebuilding, but there's always enough time or distance for her to disconnect from it. It’s not something she does consciously, it’s just… obsidian still doesn’t feel like an immediate problem, even if she knows better. Alamandine is the first (and so far, only) person to get mad at her about it. They’re not on great terms.
She’s very spacy (pun intended); the day-dreaming sort. She can get her head out of the clouds when work needs to be done, which is probably the only reason Alamandine hasn’t tried to strangle her yet.
She is The most peppy of the group. Cirtrine is aggressively supportive, but Asteroid is usually the one who can raise morale. it even works on Alamandine! even if it's just by pissing them off so much that they get up and keep going to get her to shut up
I gave her a railgun and then lost it and i don’t have it in me to re-do that whole thing. Just know that she has a sci-fi rifle.
Citrine (US Alphys)
had some trouble figuring out her hair, but I got it sorted out

Gruff, blunt, and aggressive, but has a big heart. Even bigger than her axe. Which is saying a lot that thing is huge
I’ve been imagining all these guys as their own little squad, and if that is the case then she’s 100% their commander. She has experience and skill, and despite her obvious preference to use her axe to solve problems, she knows when brute force isn’t going to work and when more subtle approaches are needed.
She’s the least subtle of them all but that’s okay we love her <33
She’s trying to find Zuli. He’s the only one from their home who’s not accounted for, which means he might be alive. But her hope diminishes as time passes with no sign of him. If he *is* alive, she’s afraid he might’ve been kidnapped.
There’s a fair chance she’ll get herself killed, after finding out what’s happened to Zuli. She’s going to be absolutely furious and it’s possible she’ll charge off to fuck Obsidian up before anyone can stop her.

i almost forgot their wings and added them last second. They're not always visible. I really wanted them to be vulture wings, but heroforge does not have vulture wings. so they got raven wings instead.
might as well give them bird feet. and it looked weird having the 'human' hands with the bird feet so they got scaly clawed hands now too
if they join the resistance, it’s fucking over for Obsidian. They can track down him and Quartz just by the people who die around them. For now, they and their sibling are in over their heads collecting and transporting the souls of people Obsidian’s killed.
although there is an alternate timeline where obsidian attempts to keep Sardonyx under his control, most likely by trapping them somewhere. but uh. some of you may be familiar with the myth of Sisyphus. TL;DR if Obsidian forcefully tries to keep Sardonyx from doing their job, there's going to be at least one other god on their way to drag his ass to hell. Very likely more, as death is kiiind of an important thing and Sardonyx's sibling can only do so much on their own
Other notes
With the exception of Sardonyx, everyone here + Spectrolite are on one little team. Citrine is their commander, as she has the most experience and such.
With that in mind: Batra, Sapphire, and Asteroid do Reconnaissance/spying/intel, while Citrine, Alamandine, and Spectrolite are front line fighters
in the google doc version, everyone is color coded based on their job, with a little note of what said job is. everyone is intel/recon or frontline, except for Sardonyx. they're just God. this isn't important information i just think im funny
Methinks the team Citrine leads in the resistance is basically Peridot’s A Team. When there’s a particularly dangerous or difficult mission that needs to be done, she hands it off to them.
Which just goes to show how good Asteroid is, despite Alamandine’s complaints that she’s not taking this seriously and shit
