Since it’s Easter I figured I’d share a little headcanon regarding rng and their holidays

They don’t necessarily have many, if any holidays sine they don’t really know any prior history besides maybe their birthdays. (I like to imagine they all share a birthday, having spawned in the world all at once).

After Rain takes up infinity’s offer on exploring other worlds, he’d of course learn of more diverse cultures and histories. And of course, about holidays.

I think he’d try to learn about them the best he can before he heads back home once his mission there is done, and he’d try his best to recite these days of celebration to the other rng leaders.

But since ofc he’s only there briefly he can’t learn all the history and all the reasons why, so he’d be explaining the days from his own perspective. So it’s a bit jumbled up and differs alot from the real holiday he’s referring to

But they’d all celebrate their little holidays since it’s something to do and they’d miss one another even with being busy tending to their respective kingdoms. They know that maybe they’re not celebrating it ‘right’ or that it’s just their own recreation of something seen briefly, but it still brings them together even if for a short while.

Thinking about Joll having really really bad chronic pain, especially right after the stuff with the static. I’m sure conk would be a little painful too but maybe not as much since it seems like the static physically ate at Joll’s skin so yk😭😭

The new group taking turns to care for the two and tend to their needs

Pickle finally being able to get a break during this time too when he’s on shift to supervise the twos wellbeing

This is a real nothing burger post but I just think these three deserve to be taken care of for a little and have a little rest from everything. Since Joll gets cold really easily pickle would sacrifice his jacket to give to him as a blanket.

Conk would probably feel really guilty since he’s the one to have infected everyone. Maybe he’d try to insist on helping out too despite being denied. He needs to heal too

Gonna be listing the JnC’s ages from each universe. I feel like someone needs to keep track of them

Canon JnC – both 17 by the finale (post epilogue is unknown)

TCG!Conk – over 100

Tcg!Joll – Not stated. Likely 17 aswell

‘Selfish’ Joll – 16

MM!JnC – sometime in their 20’s as they’re college aged. Plus 6 years I guess😭

CM!Conk – 6,000 days leads up to 16. Though his age can be debated as the age he ‘spawns in’ as plus the 16.

But ALSO. We don’t know exactly how many days for certain, he could easily be like… 6,874 days. Which is 18. Either way, he’s seemingly lived the longest out of everyone without reset

CM!Joll – technically may have just started existing. He is one days old ! Though, like CM!Conk, we don’t know the ‘age’ he is when he spawns in.

Extra note; the older Conk is, the more insane he goes.

All of this is based on things Joll Jollson has said himself in the discord server, and my own shabby math skills

TECHNICALLY. MM!Jnc could be in their early 30’s too. But I refuse to acknowledge that personally!!

Major JNC Epilogue spoilers

I don’t think the fandom talks about how Joll was ripped in half enough.

I like thinking that whilst conk and Joll don’t explicitly remember what happened when in the Rift, that they have extremely vivid nightmares that come in bits and pieces. Shakes them up so awfully and they’re inconsolable for a really long time.

Maybe the scars from sparky made it easier to tear Joll apart. My poor baby ugh

Anyways can we talk about how Joll is quite literally deathly afraid of being genuinely selfish as seen in the infinity tower

And all the times he’s been called selfish it was due to self preservation

Can we talk about how the opening of the finale was his group telling him he’s not fit to be a good leader essentially and then they all split up before anyone could apologize to him when the chaos started. How he was only ever trying to help or survive whenever he’s being ‘selfish’

ALSO;

Can we talk about how rain came back only to see Lily die and for infinity to promise to bring Joll back to him? How he left and was trapped for ~17 years because he was trying to find and protect what’s left of his family? And then when he does see Joll again he refuses to go back to the kingdoms to see them all

I think maybe he was scared of the way he’d likely be met with anger for never returning before being able to explain what happened to him and that he quite really couldn’t return.

And then we do see Lily. And whilst an off handed comment and likely due to the influence of the rift making everyone hostile- she did remark negatively on rain. She was angry with him which only proves rains Lilly anxiety to have been true. But her anger is rooted in miss and grief- just as his fear is

And now Rain may forever remain a mystery to all of them thanks to X.

Infinity was right and rain being trapped was pointless. Of course rain was in the right to not trust him, he was being blackmailed and manipulated. But infinity still had the right idea of killing x regardless. If rain had gone through with it he’d likely still be with his family and the rest of the kingdoms and would retire the adventures.
