The differences between my Conquest and Thragg series' are so stark.
Like for Conquest? Nothing else matters to him except for Darling. His darlin'. He's found someone who genuinely cares for him and doesn't just see a vicious mad dog but instead a man, a person beneath all the scars and power. You're his everything, the centre of his universe. With you he gets to live his life– a life. He hasn't been able to before! He's with you for love and the experience of having so much more than just his servitude to Viltrum.
Meanwhile, Thragg on the other hand?
He's cold and efficient. Go to Earth. Find a mate. Seduce said mate. Get close to mate. Sire children on mate. He has a plan and he's sticking to it. He doesn't care about you, his little one/heart at the beginning. He has a duty to fulfill and that's it. But for all that he's lived millenia, 9 months is still a long time. And then the extra 18 years (minimum) together, actually raising the child, maybe making more which will take even longer; meaning more exposure to you. Sooner or later he'll warm up. It's inevitable.
So while Conquest is in it for love and experiences (with children just as a bonus), Thragg's with you for children. Everything else is just a bonus he'll come to cherish.

Okay so you know how Viltrumites can breed with anything right. And humans look like Viltrumites and are the closest species to them biologically right.
What if humans can also breed with other species?
Like we haven't seen anything to suggest they can't yet. Like what if Martian Man had a one night stand and unknowingly impregnated someone? What if some Atlanteans go up to a beach to party with some humans and have unknowingly created some hybrids.
Like what if humans are just as compatible with other species? And nobody knows because they just haven't tried?
Just imagine aliens mingling with humans and a few pair up, y'know? Romancing, fucking... and then a pregnancy happens. Just everyone staring in shock because what do you mean this was always possible??
Viltrumites seeing this: first time?
Like... imagine in a slightly au timeline where everybody was a little closer and they actually celebrate their victory of the Viltrumite War (let's pretend the Viltrumites were all thought dead or something), so Mark invites them all back to earth, it's a party, heroes and aliens mingling...
Then cut to them all (Space Racer, Battle Beast, Allen & Telia) being told they're about to become parents.
Battle Beast would be the chilliest about it. Fucking drops to one knee and pledges himself to them and the baby.
Meanwhile Allen and Telia are like "which?? Of us impregnated them??" bc y'know. Telia has tentacles. That might've done a few things...
Space Racer... well he's a nomad, so... he might need to go get space milk. He'll be back. Maybe.
Sometimes I love imagining Cecil with a hero! Reader who's absolutely smitten with him and whatnot, and all the weird little interactions he has with his personal cheerleader
Just reader looking affronted anytime another hero is rude to Cecil and defending him to the ends of the earth
Or always making sure he's eaten/had his coffee. Bringing him some like you're his secretary and not a very powerful hero
Or when you learn he has contingencies for everyone, you must know if he has them for you too because:
"Cecil... Cecil I think bad thoughts."
"Everyone does, kid. It's fine. Thought crimes ain't a thing."
"But! I have powers! What if I turn villain and try to hurt you?"
Just giving him the most worried, guilty puppy eyes while he's eyeing you over the rim of his coffee
Cut to you in his lap as he reassures you that yes, if you go bad he'll be able to stop/contain you and yes, if you go bad he'll rehabilitate you and still love you.
(gives you a lil kiss on the forehead as well. As a little comfort treat.)
Like just look at that man and tell me he isn't hairy. He's thick with it, practically has a fur coat under his clothes.
So he absolutely keeps himself trimmed on most places, but his inner thighs? Listen, it would be one thing if he only wore the skirt. If he was out here full Scot with his dick swanging, he's fine. But he wears trousers, and have you ever had hairy legs enveloped by tight material? It's not comfortable.
So he absolutely 100% waxes his inner thighs so there's no chafing or itching.
Just imagine him in the bathroom or wherever, knee bent as he rests a foot on something, spreading the wax along his skin before easily ripping it off, not even blinking.
I'm not usually one for "normal" AUs of magical/supernatural media or one with aliens, but...
Where are the fics? Where's the warlord! Thragg fic? The Viking! Viltrumites au?
Where's the historical AUs? The hanahaki fics where it's either a space disease or something native to earth and it fucks the other side up because they're never had to deal with it before.
Like I can't write them all myself (especially because I have zero experience/knowledge of some of this stuff), so where are they??

Okay longer thoughts:
I loved how the episode started with a fake-out with the Viltrumites, I do wish it continued like that though and showed them killing all the main characters before cutting to Mark on the ship, but how they did it with PTSD induced visions was fine too. Not as shocking because you knew they were fake, but still fine. Especially since they showed beloved characters getting brutalized.
I wish Paul and Debbie were still together. Just that. I mean I loved all the interactions between her and Nolan but Paul should still be a part of the equation.
If I see ANYONE saying shit about the abortion... I'm mentally sending death threats. Like leave Eve alone! It was realistic and I don't wanna see anyone going "woke nonsense" or whatever.
Thraggy was adorable to see. Like bro was smiling and everything. Briefly. I also love the glimpses of him being so... Idk, I'll say "human". Which is funny to compare to the version of him in Mark's PTSD attacks. Like Thragg would not be that angry and yelling like that.
I also loved him pointing out that Mark is being a hero for the Viltrumites here. Mwuah. Kisses to Thraggy
Again– Cecil :D! I knew he was about to "die" right before Mark imagined it. Hey guys, we've got more injured Cecil images now! Also I loved seeing him jump into action to save Sinclair and then him talking with Nolan. Fuck I want him.
Fucking Kregg! Not even five minutes and he's already hooking up with someone. Good for him, honestly! Like of course women love him, look at him! Hot as fuck. I bet the eyepatch does most of the work.
Also just the obligatory poor Mark because this boy can't get a break. Good on him for asking for therapy. He needs it.
The episode ending with Allen discovering the Scourge... yikes. And the mention that it also effects humans... I can't wait for reactions to that from show only's. Like I've been (willingly) spoiled on stuff so I already knew it, but seeing people who didn't consider it learn about it... ooh, that's gonna be fun.
But also: the fuck, Thaedus? Like why us too?? Like yeah, humans suck, but c'mon!
I think that's everything. Now...
We wait for season 5. Whenever that is coming out. My only wish for season 5 is to include a lot of the Viltrumites fitting in on earth. Idc, I want every episode to include multiple different segments of them falling in love. I WANT SLICE OF LIFE STUFF. PLEASE.
