The noughts did give some electronic musicians a semblance of deserved success, but a couple of them kept getting ignored despite the greatness they contain in their works. I mean, Jean-Michel Jarre continued to be unnoticed outside his most famous record's sequels. While he did gain a lot of respect in the previous decade, his LPs from the noughts tend to be ignored. For instance, Métamorphoses reached a place I thought only Sakamoto was capable of at the later stages of his career. Mind you, I'm not comparing their soundscapes, I'm looking at both of their ethoses and one could tell Jarre seemed to like what Sakamoto did, so he tried to achieve something in the similar vein. Yes, these two should've collaborated, that would've been something.
