Was Googling the presenter from that unhinged 90s home "improvement" show everyone's memeing about, and I can't believe they burned her at the stake in 1431 (it's what she deserves for that straw wall tbh)

I am being haunted by Joan Steffend and her show from hell 'Decorating Cents' WHY IS IT ALL OVER MY FYP??? /screaming in pain
Currently watching Designing Cents from season 1 onward. I vaguely remember this show growing up. Apparently it aired in 1997 & went off air in 2009, but Discovery+ has it.
It's a show where you decorate a room for under $500.
Anyway, so far it's so tacky even by 90's & early 00's standards. Not because of the $500 budget. Most of the rooms end up being an assault on the eyes.
The only saving grace are Steve Douthit & Jim Hanson (gay couple vibes) who show you how to DIY repurposed items to decorate with.
