April 2, 2016 I left everything I knew in New York and headed South with no job to my name but faith in my heart. A newly single mother, I knew I had to do whatever needed to be done to ensure that I was able to provide the best life for my daughter. This is my third Masters program and the only one that I have completed. Battling depression, working a job I hated, completing two internships and enduring sleepless nights writing papers I became overwhelmed with life! I’ve screamed, I’ve cried, I’ve even doubted myself but God had other plans. Without the support of my family and God’s constant grace and mercy on my life, I never would have made it this far. On May 13, 2017 I will be walking across the stage at Mercer University to receive my M.Ed in Higher Education Leadership. Aria, Mommy did it! #Jeremiah2911 #Job2310
