Usually Lestat is too overwhelming for Louis, but during football season, Louis can be too much for a Frenchman to handle. Of course they root for the Saints, but Louis will get very into fantasy football, sometimes watching games on multiple screens to ensure that his players are doing well. Some years Louis bets money on websites, and if he wins it's all great for Lestat, but if he loses, Lestat will often leave Louis where ever he is as he becomes insufferable. (I think this headcanon is based on stuff you've written, but it's too cute!)

This is one of my favorite headcanons (and you’re totally right— I bring this up every year over on @sangcreole when it’s super bowl sunday lmfao)

Louis and Daniel 100% have a fantasy bracket going. In fact, Daniel is one of the only other vampires that still has an interest in sports, so the two of them definitely have their own Bro Time where they bond over that 😂 Unfortunately though Louis is a SORE LOSER so whenever Daniel’s picks win Louis goes and bitches to Armand about it lmfao

He totally watches multiple games— he camps out in the living room with his face inches from the flatscreen (the one he complained about when Lestat first got it because “this vapid materialism is going to rot your brain away”) and he yells in French when the tiny men on the screen don’t act the way he wants them to. 9 times out of 10 Lestat just leaves the flat altogether, but occasionally he’ll sit in the corner and record little clips of Louis getting all worked up to send to the group chat.

Also tbh even though Louis is absolutely INSUFFERABLE during football season, I think it pays off for Lestat no matter the outcome because if Louis wins money he’ll take Lestat out on a nice Victory Date and if he loses he’ll bully Lestat into Angry Sex so it’s kinda a win for him either way.

LARRY AND 7!!!!

Harry’s tried to get into hockey, but the problem is that it’s hard to follow the puck and the sound of players getting checked into the boards makes him wince and the rinks are just so cold. At least during baseball season he can soak up the rays while while watching Louis play and during soccer season there’s cute sweaty boys in shorts to ogle. There’s a lot to love about having a jock as a best friend slash secret crush, namely his body and his enthusiasm and the many many chances he has to just watch Louis without it being creepy because it’s expected of him. 

But hockey is going to push Harry over the edge. They’re laying in Louis’ bed. Louis’ scrubbed pink and still has damp hair from his post-practice shower, and Harry really is trying to follow Louis’ passionate treatise of Sid and Geno’s reign vs Mario and Jahr’s but Harry’s failing miserably. He’s not even totally sure who Jahr is, but at this point it’s too late to ask. 

“You know?” Louis says, turning his face to Harry’s. His eyes are bright and and he’s obviously awaiting a reaction from Harry, but Harry had fully zoned out when Louis started talking about the amount of Heart Trophies won and instead focused on the way Louis licked his lips and the curve of his nose.

Harry does know. He knows he can’t wait a second longer. 

He leans in before he can talk himself out of it for the 400th time. Louis’ clearly not expecting it and let’s out a ‘oof’ as their teeth bang together, and as far as first kisses go, it’s a pretty terrible start. 

Harry pulls an inch away, and they breath into each other’s mouths. Louis’ not scrambling to move further away, the only movement is his heaving chest and his eyes searching Harry’s.

So Harry dips back in, slower, and this time they meet softly, perfectly, and Harry melts into Louis’ embrace.

Realizing Harry’s kissed Louis speechless, he’s feeling pretty proud of himself. It’s going to be a great technique to use from now on.

We've all heard of Coven Game Night but are we ready for Coven Sports Day........

Daniel and Louis captaining opposing football teams. They pick their teams from a lineup the old fashioned way, and Lestat gets all huffy when he's the last one picked. Cyril insists on being picked as a package deal with Lestat and has to be told to stand down several times when Gabrielle tackles the shit out of him. Louis continually tries to out-strategize the other team and get the ball to Armand because he's fast as fuck, meanwhile Daniel just has Thorne fucking steamroll everyone.

listen Jock Louis has a special place in my heart idk why I just love the subverted expectations like listen he has the range okay!!

his faves are american football and basketball— he’s a Saints fan through and through, but he’s also a diehard Warriors follower and has box seats at the Chase center. He also follows a fair number of women's sports both because he drinks his respect women juice but also because it's just so much less drama and bullshit politics than men's sports.

his Vampire Memory makes him a legendary stats counter lmfao he can tell you Steph Curry's three-point average or how many interceptions Andy Dalton made over the last 5 games.

he has 100% eaten rude fans of rival teams. again, he is a sore loser!!

when there's a Big Important Game on, he will literally sleep with a radio in his coffin set to cover the game so he can subconsciously absorb it in his sleep and it's the very first thing he hears upon waking lmao

one time at trinity gate he was looking for Armand and instead found Daniel lounging around in bed, throwing and catching a football above his head like a bored teenager. He hasn't seen Armand but "THINK FAST!" He chucks the football at Louis' face and Louis instinctively catches it. It's the very first time Louis has ever caught a football, but he throws it back to Daniel and wait, that's actually kinda...fun. Flash forward to two hours later and they're both being lectured by Armand because they played catch in the house and broke one of his favorite vases LOL

lastly, but not leastly: you would not BELIEVE the amount of free drinks he pulls every time he goes to a sports bar
