Hopper wasn’t paying attention to Steve at first, but when he said that, he looked over to confirm for himself that the boy’s hands were, indeed, shaking. Steve was staring at them as if he was astonished at the fact that hands could shake, or amused, Hopper wasn’t sure. The chief of police went over and took the boy gently by the shoulders, looking him in the eyes.

“Hey, take a deep breath. Just breathe. You’re okay.”

                            his immediate reaction is to look around- ON INSTINCT, REALLY - as a quiet, “i don’t know, but they’ve gotta be around here somewhere, don’t they?” leaving his lips as his eyebrows furrow together. it’s a delayed reaction, that has him noticing the glasses on top of the other male’s head, but then he’s rationalizing - surely steve is looking for another pair, right? so he keeps looking for a moment, before stopping short. “are they on your head?” he finally asks after far too long, still not totally believing that those were the ones he was looking for.

Honestly? I could listen to you talk about carol for hours. The amount of detail and the LITTLE things you think about that I would NEVER think to are what makes her so special. Not to mention the entirety of what you've come up with for her. This is one of the best st au characters I've seen. You're also unbelievably kind and fun to chat with. So, your portrayal is immaculate. One of a kind.

     When she’d brought up the plan to run around and steal some items from the killers’ hideouts, it’d been a joke. She’d never planned for them to actually go out and do it. Meg should’ve known that bringing up this joke-plan would’ve ended up this way. Her mind felt like it was short-circuiting for a moment as she doubled back on her idea.

❝  holy shit, you are one UGLY motherfucker !  ❞      the press of a button dissolves his mask, disgust written all over the man’s face as he looks the large space beast up and down, a once over.  when the air hits his face, he nearly vomits -- exaggerated, but still disturbed by the absolute stench of the monster before him.       ❝  oh, god, do you ever bathe?  ❞       his jet boots hover him several feet away from the threat, who seems to be both irritated and confused by the small thing floating in front of it.       ❝  hey, rocket!  do you think you could like, come up with a super hose to wash this guy down?  i can’t even breathe enough to think with this guy around.  ❞       the beast finally has enough of his blabbing, a large hand coming swinging -- peter quill sips out of the way, practically yelping, but he’s not hit.       ❝  i hate to find out what his insides smell like.  ❞      is muttered as his mask reappears, a set of quad blasters in his hands raised, aimed at the beast.

peter quill aka starlord from marvel’s guardians of the galaxy - mcu based.  i’ve always thought peter quill would be a fun muse to write and i almost did write him on a long abandoned multi that i never even fully started.  he’s  someone that i’ve never quite been sure i could grasp but i wanted to try him out anyway.
