3. Jodilly’s Jungle Warrior Shot

There’s no denying that when Jodilly was at the top of her game she was a beast! She never looked more beautiful on film in the competition, her profile is amazing and her tranquil expression has a calm strength behind it as well. The silhouette of her pose is to die for: the position of her arms has a dance-like quality, her neck extension is so regal, and the graceful arch of her back is glorious. Jodilly’s picture is so artistic, and it’s the pinnacle of her portfolio!

10. Jodilly’s Futuristic Sports Shot

Jodilly nailed this photoshoot! Her energetic pose is really creative and gets the sport across while displaying the outfit extremely well. The angle of her face is perfect and she caught the light beautifully. I also love the determination in her eyes, it’s like she’s preparing to slam the pingpong ball at her opponent. Easily one of Jodilly’s finest perfomances!

I know Jodilly is a big favorite for many people and she has a devoted fanbase who believe she should have won, but I’ve personally never fully bought into the hype surrounding her. That being said, she definitely had loads of potential. Her height and killer body made her really eye-catching, and she had a lovely face as well (though I felt that her face was usually more striking in person than on film). She also held a lot of promise as a runway model due to her stature and excellent walk. A big reason for why I can understand some of the love Jodilly gets is that she had several standout pictures. I gave her 3 FCOs for her Futuristic Sports, Subaru, and Jungle Warrior shots, all of which were among my favorites of the cycle. However, outside of those peaks I don’t think Jodilly’s portfolio was particularly impressive. Barring her Resort and Airline shots she didn’t have any horrible performances, but most of her other pictures were average and/or mixed bags. The usual problem was her face: she didn’t have her angles fully worked out when she wasn’t in profile and her expressions could appear too forced a lot of the time. She was far more proficient with posing her body, although she occasionally went overboard in shoots that didn’t call for that approach (prime examples being her over-baked leaps in her Goddess and Alex Perry shots). Based on everything Jodilly delivered I probably would’ve eliminated her a couple of weeks before the finale; despite a few spectacular shots the majority of her portfolio was merely satisfactory, and there were a few other contestants I would’ve rather seen get a chance to go to the end. I do get why she made it so far based on her potential, and out of the final 3 we got I’m glad she finished as the runner-up!

3. Jodilly

I’ll start by saying that I think Jodilly got the short end of the stick by having to shoot in complete darkness, but at the end of the day I still don’t think she did all that well here. This is kind of a switcheroo though since her body/pose, which is typically her strong suit, is the weakest part of this shot. The collapsed body language is nice in theory, but it’s almost too lethargic and I don’t take note of any of the styling at all. However, this is one of my favorite headshots from her. The wistful emotion seems really genuine and she looks so stunning. Jodilly ended up finishing as the runner-up, which I believe was correct based on this final 3. However, I personally would not have her make it to the finale to begin with. She’s had some undeniably amazing pictures, but outside of those standout moments I thought her portfolio was lukewarm. She was a strong competitor and I get why she made it so far, but she wasn’t quite finalist material to me.

3. Jodilly

I have to confess that I used to have a burning hatred for Jodilly’s shot. While it’s definitely grown on me a lot, I do personally still find it to be a bit overrated. The main positive is that her body looks spectacular. She has legs for days and she modeled the shoes very well. Her figure looks amazing in the dress and her sensual body language and lean against the wall are great too, but I’m not a fan of how she hiked up the skirt since it’s slightly awkward/amateur (though she was directed to do that). I’m not crazy about her face either. She hit the angle so much better than last week and her cheekbones are lovely, but her eyes are just dead tired, I see no seduction or spark at all. With a stronger expression Jodilly’s picture would be up a spot and might’ve been a contender for my FCO too, but as it stands I’m not blown away.

5. Jodilly

Jodilly somehow placed 2nd at panel for this disaster which makes zero sense to me. I think she was going for a seductive expression, but just looks uncomfortable/drowsy and the angle is completely wrong. I don’t mind the foot propped up on the suitcases, but the rest of her pose is painfully bad. The way she’s holding the bag is extremely stiff and awkward, and she lifted up her shoulders much too high. She could’ve just held the bag with one hand, put the other on her hip, and stared off into the distance instead; it would’ve been basic but a massive improvement all the same. Jodilly definitely should’ve been on the chopping block at panel, this is one of her worst shots in the competition.
