After a long day of payslips and paperwork at The Baxter Society, Shiv's walk home leads him to cross paths with an old friend. While they're catching up, Drifter asks Shiv something he himself has wondered for quite a long time.
revived my 2020 ao3 account to write a shivter character study :D it's around ~2.5k words. i've always wondered about shiv's insecurities, both around the baxter society and his past, and if he ever feels any real resentment towards them for not allowing him to grow from who he used to be.
